I attended Queens College, CUNY and have taught Sunday school and summer school at the Muslim Center of New York for more than five years. I strongly believe that we all have an obligation to teach and give children the opportunities we may not have had. I am very passionate about teaching and my students and their parents were quite pleased with the progress made. Several students were even selected to participate in the citywide annual speech competition! I am able to tutor elementary, middle school, and high school students in a wide variety of subjects. I have experience teaching pre-algebra, algebra, elementary and middle school math, biology, science, psychology, and social studies. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, biking, skateboarding, and playing handball. I also love to travel, read, and network.
