Experience
I have earned two bachelor's of science degrees. On I obtained in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, and the other is in Physics, which I studied at Adelphi University. I have a huge passion for physics. I realize that this is not the favorite subject for a lot of students. It's not that easy when you start out. And if you get the wrong teacher, it's going to be that much more difficult. But I was lucky enough to have the best physics teachers, who brought the subject alive. Teachers who loved physics and loved sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with others. And teachers who inspired me to follow in their footsteps. As I learned physics myself, I figured it would help me learn if I helped others learn. Thus began my tutoring career. It did help me learn, and even more exciting, I was able to help others learn. Because physics does involve a lot of math, I also tutor students in various math subjects. I have also worked in the aerospace industry, so I bring some pretty exciting, real-world examples to the table. Outside of my work and tutoring time, I enjoy reading, playing bass and guitar, and enjoying good food.
